 BLAST Home

Note: BLAST 2020 was canceled and ended our camp.   We talk about it all the time so this website will always be available in hope that someday someone will recreate as we did after the end of Phylis Delaney SRABC (2005).  BLAST was a magical experience for all who attended.

BLAST  SOCIALS  BLISS
We began: "Building Life After Stroke Together"
We became: "Survivors Offering Camaraderie In Active Life Style"
We live: "Better Life In Stroke Survival"

We wanted to see each other more than once a year so on the 15th of every month we began having dinner together at Trocaderos at 5 pm.
This is a great event to begin in neighbourhoods everywhere...Everyone pays their own bill and that's it. Pick a restaurant and set a date

In 2018 we began a new collective we call SOCIALS  it's a spin-off from BLAST. created when Templeton Turtles had nowhere to go.
Volunteering every week is a lot to ask. Most people attend anyway, but no one is obligated to participate every week  Everyone is only responsible for one week a month.

It's very successful and we have a lot of fun helping each other.  There is BLAST SOCIALS Research published Feb 15, 2023. We're very proud of how far we've come.
For more information SOCIALS Weekly,     This site is about all the fun we had during Easter BLAST

BLAST is an autonomous group of Stroke Survivors. Volunteer driven and working from our homes. We are not funded by any charity nor apply for government grants. We thrive on the generosity of individuals donating funds, time, expertise and material goods. Any help is very much appreciated and all goes directly to BLAST. No salaries or overhead.
